Summer 2008:

August 27, 2008: Terran Moonshaft!

This one's a bit late but hey, here it is, Terran Moonshaft, an episode 2 type of space map.

August 25, 2008: Three Dukematch levels!

Well, it's time to re-open the Dukematch maps section now that I got Dukester X to work. We'll start off with DM_Ducts, Canyon Bunker and Atomic Bunker.

Note that I will only review those Dukematch maps that I actually play online.

HellDuke TC added to Upcoming Maps.

August 22, 2008: Project Zero!

It seems that the Oostrum brothers are getting kicked out of the top-5 due to DukePlus usermaps. Red 3 is another casualty as Spiker releases Project Zero, a hot map scoring 98.

I'm running out of scores here. I know the system is in need of a revamp but it'd be an awful lot of work. We'll see.

August 18, 2008: Skycity!

Ilovefoxes is another relatively fresh face who's now unleashed a brand new kick-ass city map, Skycity, a map influenced by the works of Allen H. Blum & Levelord.

Also, CarThief released an updated version of his Delivery to Hidden Base (see below). The review has not yet been updated to match the new version but the file is available for download.

August 15, 2008: Delivery to Hidden Base!

Another new mapper hits the community, CarThief, with a brand new map, Delivery to Hidden Base, a map that sadly falls short of its potential. It's a Hot Map anyway so check it.

August 10, 2008: WGSpace Episode!

William Gee's space maps (released separately during the last eight or so years) have finally been put together. Check WGSpace Episode.

July 22, 2008: Chinese Secret!

A few weeks back LAW sent me a Duke3D map he made back in -98 so let's give it a ten-year anniversary release. Check The Chinese Secret in Maps.

LAW also sent me a map he made for PowerSlave/Exhumed but I don't have it but here's the map anyway in case you're one of the two people who still have the game installed.

July 20, 2008: Quake3Arena - Lifeline!

Finally finished working on my new Q3A map, Lifeline. In case you have Q3A, download the level and have fun.

See gameplay video (Youtube).

Screenshots:

July 11, 2008: City Full of Alien Scum!

Reviewed City Full of Alien Scum!, a hot city map that was released some weeks ago.

July 5, 2008: Hostel!

I asked you guys to make this year better than the last one in terms of Duke3D releases - and I'm glad to announce that we have already had more new map releases this year than last year. And we're only halfway through this year!

Anyways, here's Hostel, a hot 3DRealms style city map.

July 3, 2008: Blown Fuses!

Gambini's Blown Fuses has been reviewed scoring 98 and therefore entering the top 5 list (see above).

Note the previously uploaded Blown Fuses ("DukePlus17.rar") is an older version of the map. See the review for a new version.

June 22, 2008: Some new maps!

I've been out of town for about two weeks now and I won't be back home until next weekend. But anyways, several maps have seen the light of day while I've been gone and I'm now uploading two for you to download & play. Reviews will follow later.
Check Blown Fuses (mirror here), an amazing map that utilizes a new kick-ass version of DukePlus, and City Full of Alien Scum!, a big city map by Taivo Maripuu.

June 9, 2008: Fernocity!

Fernito, whose Area 69 was salvaged some weeks ago, has now come up with a new, big, nonlinear city map. Check Fernocity, a map that scored 95 points.
