Winter 2025-2026:

The Simpsons have been on television for a long time, like almost 30 years past their prime (my only wish is that the show dies before I do), and we've definitely seen a share of homages, nods and references to the show in Duke3D maps. E-I-E-I-D'oh from Pepsodent centers entirely around what some might consider a classic episode, so take a look.

Well this one took a bit longer than I expected, as I definitely intended to update earlier in the year, but hey, at least that means there's a backlog to work on now. Anyway, check out Merlijn's Cliffs of Dover, a hottie worth 96 points.

The year 2025 is about to end/has ended, so here's a quick look at it in terms of new releases reviewed on MSDN:
2004: 50 new releases
2005: 36 new releases
2006: 30 new releases
2007: 21 new releases
2008: 40 new releases
2009: 34 new releases
2010: 26 new releases
2011: 21 new releases
2012: 29 new releases
2013: 28 new releases
2014: 22 new releases
2015: 19 new releases
2016: 24 new releases
2017: 13 new releases
2018: 20 new releases
2019: 11 new releases
2020: 15 new releases
2021: 23 new releases
2022: 16 new releases
2023: 20 new releases
2024: 17 new releases
2025: 12 new releases

So, not quite the worst, but almost! There were a few releases I missed due to my own laziness/busyness, but hey, what can you do... One map I really wanted to review was DukeShock, but I got stuck and am not sure if I'm even able to continue, but we'll see. In any case, the highpoint of the year was definitely the fifth episode of the AMC Squad, to which I contributed one map, the Tannhäuser Gate! The episode has finally now been reviewed, so check it out.

And Happy New Year!

Well I did manage to squeeze in one more update before tomorrow's, so here's Maarten van Oostrums long-awaited Another Attack 3: Down the Upstairs.

IF everything goes well, tomorrow I'll finally post a review of AMCTC Episode 5.

I suppose it's too late to call this a Christmas update, but whatever; Merry Christmas! I was out of town for a week and had very little time, so this will have to do. Check out MRCK's W.A.R.T.H.U.G.Z. for some Pig Cop -infested action.

I'll try to squeeze in one more update before the New Year and then celebrate the New Year itself with a review of the fifth AMC TC episode, but that depends on time constraints. Keep yer fingers crossed!
